Of course, I can't've known what exactly you were typing about to me, but as for blending in, well...
You do things you want to do, if it gets you noticed, then you're very very unique. Unique in that tons of talented people, yes, do go unnoticed. Though this by no means that you "belong" blending into background.
I noticed you, and your talent is inspiring.

I always have my nails painted red because I think it looks good, not because it'll make me different. I notice how beautiful newly cut grass is, and how the smell makes my nose tickle, and how the pieces of dead and yellowed grass gets stuck in my sandle. I enjoy most everything I can on this fresh-cut earth, and I want to keep on. I do what I want, and maybe I get noticed, mostly I don't. Enjoying this place is easy, just look at these beautiful pictures you've taken.
Look what you've captured.
It's incredible, really.
